Mosque Tours

Mosques are the heartbeat of the Muslim community. A place for Muslims to meet one another daily to perform the prayers, and a safe place to conduct other acts of worship and activities beneficial for Muslim community, men and women.
Umar bin Al-Khattab Mosque is open to all visitors, school groups, community groups and the general public. We ISV have been conducting mosque tours since the 1990’s and provide the following:

Multimedia presentation about Islamic faith.
Q&A and discussion session.
A guided tour of the mosque building accompanied by a faith guide.
Minaret walk and observation
Observation of one of the daily or special prayer services.
Interactive activities for school children

Islamic Awareness Training

We offer a range of interactive cultural awareness training modules for all types of organisations, including:

schools & other education institutions
corporate companies
not for profit organisations
Government departments.

The Islamic Awareness training covers the fundamentals of Islam, demographics, celebrations and debunking stereotypes. We also discuss the cultural and religious needs of Muslims, service barriers in the workplace and creating a more inclusive workplace.
