Sheikh Ali Rabah

Sheikh Ali has been the serving Imam of Preston Mosque since 2018.

Sheikh Ali was born in Akkar, Lebanon. He started his Islamic studies at a very early age and acquired his Shariah knowledge in Lebanon. Ali has been offering his service to the community for many years and has been working with the Islamic Society of Victoria for over ten years.

Sheikh Ali can also be found on a number of key boards. Sheikh Ali is a current member of the Board of Imams Council Victoria (BOIV).

Sheikh Ali is also registered as a marriage celebrant. He officiates civil and religious ceremonies. Sheikh Ali has also been involved in Mediation in Islamic Marriages.

Sheikh Ali has also been involved in a number of charity events, fundraisers and the recent Mosque redevelopment. He has also been active in interfaith and intercultural dialogue.
